The Persil Junior Innsbruckathlon is an obstacle course for children and young people between the ages of 8 and 15, competing in three age groups (8-10, 11-13, and 14-15). Starts are held every four minutes. The course is approximately 4 km long and features approximately 2 obstacles.

Since 2026: Children aged 4-7 are now allowed to participate in the Family Run – accompanied by a parent. You can find all the information below.

THAT WAS THE PERSIL JUNIOR INNSBRUCKATHLON 2026!

The Junior Innsbruckathlon is an obstacle course for children and young people between the ages of 8 and 15 who compete in three age groups (8-10 years, 11-13 years, 14-15 years). The starts are every 4 minutes. The route is about 2 km long and about 10 obstacles have to be overcome.

  • From 15:00 PM: Music & Moderation
  • 16:00 PM: Start in blocks
  • Approx. 17:45 p.m.: Awards ceremony
  • Until 18:30 p.m.: Joint conclusion

The participants will be divided into 3 starting blocks (according to age groups: 8-10, 11-13, 14-15).
The starting signal for the first block is at 16:00 p.m.

The starts are every 4 minutes.

There is an identical entry fee for all age groups:

29€ (including VAT, chip and processing fee)

(Your start number can only be picked up if you have your parents' declaration of consent for participation with you.)

If there are still starting places available, you can register at the start number issue (late entry: €34 incl. VAT and chip and processing fee).

This year, our youngest athletes will also have their big moment with the Family Run!

In 2026 we will open the track for our 4-7 year olds for the first time, and the best part is:
The kids complete the Persil Junior Innsbruckathlon together with a parent.

Late naming

Late entries will take place during the bib number distribution and amount to:

1 child + 1 adult: €35 incl. chip and processing fee
2 children + 1 adult: €55 incl. chip and processing fee

Please take the booking confirmation/booking number and the parents’ declaration of consent with you when you issue your starting number.

Please return the chip after the run at the finish.

The junior obstacles are adapted to the age of the children and simplified.

In the Hupf in Gatsch obstacle, you have to cross containers filled with water. The water height is about 50 cm. There is also a kind of ladder to get out of the containers and into the next one.

For participants in the Junior Innsbruckathlon, the start number is valid as a free ticket for the return trip 1,5 hours before the start of the race and 1,5 hours after the end of the race on the IVB lines in Innsbruck (core zone). The general conditions of transport and tariff regulations of the Innsbrucker Verkehrsbetriebe and Stubaitalbahn GmbH apply.

You must take a declaration of consent from your parents with you to the bib number issue! If the legal guardian who signed the declaration of consent is not present on site (when the start number is distributed), we need a copy of the ID of the legal guardian who signed the declaration of consent.
