REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Entry fee 2026 – fixed price
10+ km route:
109€ including processing fee and timing chip.
5+ km distance:
94€ including processing fee and timing chip.

Late registration at the start number collection point: 10€ at the fixed price.
Distance and name changes can be made free of charge up to two weeks before the event via MaxFun. A surcharge applies for distance changes from 5 km to 10 km. Changes can also be made directly at the race number distribution point; a processing fee of €10 applies. Thank you for your understanding!
Late entries are also possible during the race number distribution and cost €10 extra on top of the fixed price. All prices include the chip and processing fee. Registration codes and discount codes can be redeemed online (until midnight two weeks before the event). They cannot be redeemed on-site at the race number distribution! Purchased codes will also lose their validity due to organizational measures. Codes are not vouchers.

Start time: 15:00 p.m
You can select your desired starting block when you register. Your start time will be checked when you enter the start area so that there are no unnecessary waiting times. The exact times will be announced by email during the event week.
Block 1 – YELLOW (only top runners -> Info)
Block 2 – GREEN (racing -> under 1h 10min)
Block 3 – RED (ambitious -> under 1h 25min)
Block 4 – BLUE (comfortable -> under 1h 40min)
Block 6 – ORANGE (main thing is getting through -> over 1h 50min)
The starting blocks are divided into waves of 80. Every block of 80 gets one fixed start time assigned. The start time will be sent to you by email after the entry deadline and also noted on the start number. Athletes on the same team (same team name in the online registration) are considered with the same start time.
The starting area is allowed only 15 minutes near the fixed start time the betret will. If you miss your start time, you can start in an extra block of 80 after the last starting block.

We award prizes for the 10+ km route:

- Single women 1 – 3 place*
- Individual men 1 – 3 place*
- Team women 1 – 3 place **
- Team men 1 – 3 place **
- Team Mixed 1 – 3 place **
There is no award ceremony for the 5+ km distance.
*In the individual ranking you can also see your placing in the age groups online: 16-35*/35-45/45-55/55+ (at the award ceremony only the overall winner will be awarded).
**From 4 participants you can start as a team, the number of team members is unlimited. For the team ranking, you can assign a common, unique team name during registration. When registering, make sure that the team name is spelled identically!
Each runner is also included in the individual ranking.
NEW CHANGE POSSIBILITIES AT BEAT THE CITY:
All changes can be made free of charge for the 2025 competitions up until the registration deadline. You can change everything in your MaxFun account. The most important changes at a glance:
1) Name change
- Due to the legal framework, a “simple” change of the name is not possible.
- You can request a name change in your account. You will then receive a coupon via email and your registration will be completely deleted.
- You can then pass this coupon on to your replacement person.
- This coupon is only valid for the same event (same year), it is not a voucher! The coupon must be redeemed at least 2 weeks before the event.

2) Change in distance
- Change from 5km to 10km: the difference between the time of registration and the entry fee must be paid on the day of the change of registration.
- Change 10km to 5km: Free of charge, but there will be no refund of the difference.
- Changes are only possible online up to 2 weeks before the event.

3) Changes to team name/starting block/etc.
- Changes can be made at any time in your user account on MaxFun.
- Please make the changes yourself – our team cannot do this for you.
All changes can be made until the registration deadline!
Important note:
- When collecting the starting number, only name changes are possible and a fee of 10 € will be charged as usual (Juniors 5 €).
You can register for the entire beat the city series and participate in all four events – Linzathlon, Innsbruckathlon, GRAWE Grazathlon, and Viennathlon. The series registration deadline coincides with the Linzathlon registration deadline. The overall ranking will be decided at the Viennathlon. Registration is via MaxFun.
