Vienna Schools Special

Attention Vienna schools!

All Viennese schools are cordially invited Free entry to the Persil Junior Viennathlon on September 26, 2026 to participate – provided that registration is done collectively through the school.

Places are limited to 2000 and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

This free participation is made possible by the support of the Vienna Education Directorate It's possible!

Start: 10:00 p.m

Arena: Danube Island / Floridsdorf Bridge

Here's how registration works:

  1. Student data in the Excel list enter.
  2. Please send the completed list by email to office@beatthecity.at
  3. Have the parents fill out the consent form and bring it with you to the bib number collection on the day of the event.

The Junior Viennathlon is an obstacle course for children and young people between the ages of 8 and 15, who compete in three age groups (8-10 years, 11-13 years, 14-15 years). The starts take place every 4 minutes. The course is around 2 km long and up to 10 obstacles must be overcome.

The participants will be divided into 3 starting blocks (according to age groups: 8-10, 11-13, 14-15).
The starting signal for the first block is at 10 a.m.

The starts are every 4 minutes.

You can get your starting numbers, chips & goodie bags in the Millennium City on the 2nd floor opposite the Flip Lab:

In order to avoid long waiting times, we recommend that everyone who has the opportunity to do so collects their starting number on Friday.

When picking up your starting number, you must bring your parents’ consent form.

Late entries are possible as part of the start number distribution.

Participants must be at least 8 years old on the cut-off date for the Persil Junior Viennathlon.

You must take a declaration of consent from your parents with you to the bib number issue! If the legal guardian who signed the declaration of consent is not present on site (when the start number is distributed), we need a copy of the ID of the legal guardian who signed the declaration of consent.
